Civil Contractors New Zealand is seeking input from construction professionals on industry issues, workforce and technology in its annual Construction Industry Survey

Now in its seventh year, this joint research project with Teletrac Navman aims to provide actionable insights to assist construction companies in overcoming challenges and capitalising on opportunities.

The survey, highly regarded by industry experts, has been cited multiple times by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) in its recent Building and Construction sector trends biannual snapshot.

As New Zealand, along with the rest of the world, emerges from the grips of the pandemic and the ensuing economic uncertainty, the Construction Industry Survey serves as a valuable resource. The country has experienced an extraordinary summer of major weather events, placing immense pressure on its infrastructure.

Coupled with the upcoming election, the survey seeks to gather inputs from industry professionals on industry issues, workforce and technology. The results promise a more comprehensive analysis of the state of civil construction, with a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Moreover, the survey aims to equip the civil construction industry with the knowledge necessary to navigate uncertainties and drive sustainable growth, and contributes to increased awareness of contractors amongst clients.

The survey is open to participants until 26 June 2023. By taking part, individuals will have the opportunity to enter a draw for a chance to win a $500 Prezzy card.

The findings of the 2023 Construction Industry Survey will be released ahead of Civil Contractors NZ’s annual conference, scheduled to kick off on August 30 in Auckland.

By participating in this year’s survey, industry stakeholders can contribute their insights to help shape the future of civil construction in New Zealand.
